Madison Property Management is looking for an experienced and proactive marketing enthusiast with a knack for innovation and collaboration to lead our marketing team. This individual should be part analyst, part strategist, and part manager, and should operate with a “market-led” attitude to keep MPM’s marketing, branding, and PR efforts in line with the needs and behaviors of the renters and property owners we serve.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal-leadership to develop and execute branding and internal-identity initiatives.
Develop and implement marketing plans including promotional calendars and programs, new property introductions, and resident retention initiatives.
Manage and meet a working marketing budget.
Conduct customer, brand, and property research initiatives, establishing and growing a target market share.
Use a research-led approach to forecast trends and develop marketing strategies for both the MPM brand and flagship properties.
Manage agency providers, ILS services, consultants, freelancers, and other vendors, including contract negotiation and management, to guarantee advantageous partnerships.
Lead the marketing team in developing innovative advertising, PR, social media, and promotional/retention events strategies.
Work with the leasing, applications, and property management teams to track the customer cycle from lead to lease, set sales goals, and maintain maximum occupancy across the portfolio.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and convey marketing progress and reporting to leadership.
Supervise the marketing team, including hiring, onboarding, training, workloads, schedules, career-development, and setting deadlines.
Stay up to date on current marketing trends including automation, virtual reality, augmented reality, and data management and provide realistic internal recommendations for new programs.
Serve as the marketing key user for Rent Manager 12 and work with the IT team to identify key data points and reporting capabilities.
Work with IT and internal operations to continue the development of an internal CRM program.
Lead the development of a “market-led” website including road-mapping, market research, and execution.
Represent MPM in the community through philanthropic involvement, attending industry events, and exploring opportunities for further education.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in marketing, branding, or other related field
Experience in a leadership position preferred
A Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft office, experience working with property management or comparable software, working knowledge of Adobe creative suite
A valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle

Hours:

This is a full-time salaried position (paid holidays, vacation time, and benefits available) Monday through Friday with the potential for weekend and evening hours on an as-needed basis.
